I have read SO many parenting books, but nothing has helped us as much as your courses. We love your friendly style and also appreciate how short and accessible each module of your courses are.. I just wanted to express my gratitude and let you know how much your work is appreciated.

Thank you for your podcast and webinars on your website. Everything has been super useful for us, especially for me as a mom who sometimes doesn’t know how to address certain situations.

Meet Dr. Friendtastic

Hi there! I'm Dr. Eileen Kennedy-Moore (aka "Dr. Friendtastic"). I'm a clinical psychologist, mom of four, and a genuine expert on children’s friendships. I've written two books for kids that dive deep into friendship, Growing Friendships and Growing Feelings, plus four books for parents about children’s feelings and friendships. I’m also a professor for The Great Courses, a TEDx speaker, and the creator of a weekly, 5-minute podcast called Kids Ask Dr. Friendtastic .

This course draws from the latest research plus my clinical experience helping hundreds of children and families. I created it to help kids learn how to make and keep friends. Strong and caring friendships are crucial for children’s well-being now and in the future.

Friendships Help Kids Thrive

Studies find that when children have even one close, reciprocal friend–meaning someone they like who likes them back–they have higher self-esteem, they feel less lonely, they have more positive attitudes toward school, they cope better with stressful events, and they’re even less likely to be bullied.

Give your child the gift of learning the essential friendship skills that every child needs.
